Fundraising effort to help defer medical costs of MIster Fred's recent optical woes.
Lost 75% vision in left eye due to doctors not treating his glaucoma post-k. Lost rest of left eye's vision when "glaucoma laser" surgery got botched.
The skinny:
artists paint eye patches.
We auction them off.
Funds help pay for uncovered med expenses. such as occupational therapy. Touro Hospital is only program in New Orleans.$180 per driving lesson. If Fred can retrain right eye to keep license and that sense of independence.
